2009/4/12 完美不美 完美不美。 in English, I can say: perfection is ugly or perfection is not beautiful err... lost in translation maybe I should say perfection itself is a kind of imperfection so should I re-phrase the Chinese to "完美是一种缺陷" ? 2009/3/9 差一点汉语有时候很有意思，两个字，差一点，有时候意思很近。比如说“玉”和“王”——作为偏旁的时候，“王”就是“玉”，例如“珏”、“瑜”、“琉璃”等等，都是做玉解。又比如“大”和“太”，在“不大像”和“不太像”，“不大好”和“不太好”等等，意思相近； 但是有时候差一点，意思却又差别很大，比如说“太太”不等于“大大”，“林黛玉”也跟“林黛王”相差甚远。 2009/3/8 Scrub SpongeI use those “heavy duty” scrub sponge to clean dishes (I only use the dishwasher as dish storage/rack). Their quality is so good and I opened two and keep using them for like 4 months; and they are still in pretty good shape and have not worn out much or become smaller or uglier, they do not even look dirty or old. But I bought a whole package of 18 pieces from Costco, I think I am going to use them to clean all the dishes in my whole life, and when I die, I still have 2 unused pieces to give to my children and 3 to my grand children as part of my heritage. What kind of business are those people who makes these scrub sponge doing? how do they make money?

nobody notices or he might ask for the permission to do so with whatever possible reason he thinks will work.
While cutting in line of cars is quite different, the driver who is driving in another lane might just suddenly
speed up, and flashes his right or left turn light, and then without getting your approval he just cuts in.
it is just like when you are waitintg in a line, and some one just comes by and say "Hey, I am cutting in" and
then he just gets in front of you, and you have no easy way to prevent that from happening, and if you don't want to punch your
head into his butt, what you could do is just screaming and pointting the middle finger behind him.
Or you could get back in front of him as he just does.
